I’ve struggled with acne since I was about 10 or 11 years old, and I tried EVERYTHING to get clear skin, but nothing worked because I didn’t have the proper understanding of what my skin needed to restore its function and reach my goals. I spent years using drying cleansers, harsh prescription treatments, not using a moisturizer, not knowing that I was using harmful ingredients, etc.

The things I did to my skin were not out of love at all. I hated my skin. Mentally, acne can really affect a person in a lot of ways. If you’ve been there I’m sure you can relate. I missed out on events, opportunities, had people say ignorant things about my skin. But if I could tell anything to that version of myself it would be “Take pictures, go to events, and take the proper steps to heal your skin because you love it enough to do so”. I choose to dedicate my time and energy into skin health because I have learned to love my skin, and I want you to love your skin too.

My professional skincare journey began shortly after I graduated high school in 2016 and left my hometown in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

In 2017 I started my schooling in Esthetics - Advanced Skincare Technology at The Style Academy in Regina, Saskatchewan. There, I was trained one-on-one by some of the most reputable educators in the industry. It was here I was introduced to and educated in depth on the professional Dermalogica and Eminence Organics product lines.

Immediately after graduating I found a job working in Damara Day Spa’s beautiful Hotel Saskatchewan location. Here I spent my days focusing on manicures, pedicures, waxing, tints, and body treatments, but my favourite was facials which I performed using exclusively Eminence Organics.

By 2019 I had decided that I was ready to leave Regina and found a job in Banff, Alberta at Red Earth Spa. Here I continued to work with Eminence Organics, and had the opportunity to be trained in SkinCeuticals. I found myself growing my clientele quite quickly despite the constant challenges the world was facing at the time. By 2020 I was the senior Esthetician at Red Earth Spa and spent my days fully booked with facials- it was wonderful! But still, I wanted something more.

I wanted to position myself somewhere that people weren't just passing through- I wanted to help people reach their long term skin goals.

By summer 2021 I had decided it was time for the big move. I got to work researching which product line which best suit the needs of my goal orientated clients. After extensive debating I began my partnerships with Dermalogica and Esthemax so that I could bring you the most customized and effective treatments, while having access to continue my advanced skincare education. In September 2021, I found a studio space in District Studios beauty + wellness collective in the Beltline neighbourhood of Calgary and by that October I was accepting clients in my own space!

In less than a year I have helped hundreds of people finally feel confident in their own skin, and I truly believe that everyone deserves to feel that way.
