Natalie has always had a passion and fascination with nutrition and food as a whole. She truly views the idea of food as a complex and invigorating topic that digs too much deeper than just the steak and potatoes that you see on your plate. She strongly believes in the importance of food not only at the molecular level but also in the preparation, culture, meaning behind it, the people they bring together and the places they come from. Her philosophy stems from the idea that food is truly powerful and its capabilities and impact on the human body should never be diminished. Her strong science background has given her great insight into the human body and how truly important it is to know what it is that you’re choosing to fuel your body with. Additionally, how these factors play a role in the functioning of each individual cell. Natalie has a passion for educating others on nutrition as well as teaching others healthy and sustainable eating habits. Natalie is so excited to be working under such a talented and experienced coach such as Brittany and is eager to start coaching clients herself!

Natalie is in the process of completing her Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Royal University here in Calgary. Since high school, her intentions were to become a dietician, but as time went on she realized she wanted to study a broader range of sciences. Her major is General Science with a heavy concentration in chemistry and biology which have sparked her interest in nutrition even further. In addition to this, she is also a Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Specialist! In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, making up fun new recipes, hitting the ski slopes, playing hockey, working out and spending time at her cabin back home in Saskatchewan.
